NAN COMFORT vs NAN OPTIPRO

NAN COMFORT vs NAN OPTIPRO: what’s the difference? It’s a question many parents ask when trying to decide on a baby formula.

Tell Me Baby parents have rated baby formulas they’ve tired and shared their opinions on what has or hasn’t worked for them. Based on their baby formula reviews, we’ve compared Nestlé NAN OPTIPRO 1 and Nestlé NAN COMFORT 1 to help you make a better buying decision for your baby.

Baby formula and protein

Whey and casein are the two main types of protein found in milk. Pregnancy Birth & Baby says, “Your baby’s first formula should usually be one that contains whey protein as the main type of protein.”

However, while whey is the dominant protein in both of these formulas, both Nan Comfort and Nan Optipro contain casein, which can be hard for babies to digest.
