You can’t choose who you love, and for two-year-old Theo, it’s a five-foot (1.5m) skeleton decoration.
US mum Abigail Brady shared a video of Theo and his best friend, and of course everyone loves it!
So how did Theo get a skeleton?
Explaining the story in a video on Tik Tok, Abigail said their water heater had flooded in the basement. While she was cleaning it up, Theo noticed the old Halloween decoration and there was an instant connection between the two.
After Abigail had finished cleaning, they were going to the local reservoir, but Theo refused to get into the car without his skeleton.
“He refused to get in the car, just flat-out refused. So I was like, ‘I’ll bring it in the car, it’s not that big, it’s not that big of a deal,'” Abigail said.

Once they arrived at the reservoir, Theo refused to get out of the car without the Halloween decoration.
“I was like, ‘This is going to be fun. We’ll just bring the skeleton with us, and it’ll be a party,'” Abigail said. “Ever since then, the skeleton’s been coming everywhere with us.”
The mum is now sharing videos on social media of Theo and his skeleton friend, who they named Benny after the character from Halloweentown.
Speaking to Today, Abigail said, “It’s funny to see him put food in Benny’s mouth and it just drops down through his ribs.
“Theo thinks it’s so funny.”

Although Theo doesn’t insist on taking Benny everywhere anymore, he does make sure he’s sitting in his room at night while he sleeps.
Abigail said she tried removing Benny from her son’s room, but Theo just called out for him.
“He was like, ‘Skeleton! Skeleton!’ So I put the skeleton back in his room, and he just sits on his rocking chair while Theo sleeps,” she explained.
“(Theo) loves to give Benny knuckles and high fives and he pokes him in the ribs. It’s cute.”
