I’ve had a few thermometers and I end up using this one all the time. Although I sometimes need to do a double take (both underarms), it’s quite accurate. The non contact one I have is completely unreliable. Shows red when temperature is high as well as green when the temperature is ok.

This thermometer is easy to use as you just place it under your baby’s underarm and gives your accurate readings however it is quite slow in giving your the babies temperature which can be quick difficult when you have a sick baby and a distressed baby and your waiting on the reading.

After needing to change the battery, it never worked again. I needed a fast reading one as bubs wouldn't tolerate/ be paitent with the standard thermometers. But I also knew how inaccurate the non contact thermometers can be as well, and of course you don't realise it's not working until you need it because of a fever and you're stressing to help bubs.
