Was given this potty as a present and we were very happy. Easy to clean, easy to empty and love the lid that can be closed. Our son quickly took to potty training with this potty. We never used it as a stool but we did use it for a short period straight on the toilet however our son wanted to use the big toilet like a big boy so we ended up ditching all add on toilet seats in the end.

I bought this potty for my daughter originaly because we could use it as a stool as well, but it seemed to distracting for her to even try to start to learn how to use, she'd pull apart all the peices and play with the lid which drove me insane.
