This was the first toothpaste we purchased but found it a struggle as you have to spit it out (it contains fluoride) and kiddo was not capable of spitting out toothpaste yet. She also wasn't keen on the taste. We've since given it another go now that she's older and she loves the taste and the fact that it has the coloured stripes on it. I'd say to wait for this one until your kiddo is around 2.

Once our first child was used to the routine of teeth brushing and her palate change we were able to use this. We tried to when we first started brushing her teeth but the flavour and texture was not something she enjoyed and she would kick and scream. But after about 2 she has been happy to use it and we trust the brand Macleans

This toothpaste is a good one to use once Bub is over 2 and a bit more used to brushing. The flavour is palatable, its texture is good and you only need a little bit. One aspect is because it has fluoride it needs to be spat out which is very hard to get little ones to do. So more suitable for toddlers who can spit.
