MooGoo Natural Sunscreen SPF 40

We wish making a good sunscreen using only Zinc as the active was as easy as putting Zinc into a moisturiser, but it’s not. Good broad spectrum sun protection using only Zinc without being too greasy is very complicated. Stability, a good reflective film, naturally preserved…all of these things took us 4 years of work to achieve. But it was worth it and this is why:

  • Zinc Oxide doesn’t break down on the skin and provides long-lasting protection from UV rays
  • Suitable for use on babies, children and adults of all skin types, including sensitive skin
  • Free of all UV filters, synthetic chemicals and penetration enhancers
  • Does not contain any ingredients that are harmful to coral reefs
  • Reapply if cream is physically rubbed off

Best sunscreen ever

Great product. My children have never reacted to it. I use it too. Thick and rubs in clear. Stops sunburn effectively. I've found it better value to buy in the smaller tubes as it does get a battering bringing it around everywhere. Doesn't smell very strong at all which I…Read More

Love Moo Goo!

I purchased this sunscreen because it was one of the very few recommended for babies under 6 months - whilst bubs is generally out of the sun, it is good to have that extra back up and to cover reflection. Moo Goo sunscreen goes on easily and is nice and…Read More

Good but hard to use

There are good and bad points about this product. Love that it is natural and that it has a high spf rating. I bought to use on my baby and find it very thick and very hard to run into her skin. Wish it was a little more user friendly.

Purchased this after reading about a few sunscreens, I wanted something that would work but also wouldn’t irritate my little ones skin. This is worth the money. Takes a little longer to rub in then other sunscreens as this is zinc based. I’ve used it on my self also, I…Read More

Q: Can I use MooGoo on a newborn?
A: YES! All of our products are suitable for newborns but we suggest you patch test first to check for allergies to any natural ingredients.
Q: Where should I store my MooGoo and do your products have an expiry date?
A: All MooGoo products should last 24months if stored under 30 degrees, away from sunlight. We have the products independently tested (a British Pharmacopeia Preservative Efficacy Test) to make sure they are sterile. This is very important as our products are often used on children or people with broken skin and contaminated products can be dangerous. We use an organic preservative system in all of our creams except for our Eczema Balm which has different requirements as it is a therapeutic product.
Q: Are ALL product ingredients listed on the packaging?
A: YES! Here at MooGoo we take the “No Gimmick” approach very seriously and believe it is important to inform people what they are putting on their skin. “Therapeutic Products” actually have no requirement to list all of their ingredients, but we do it voluntarily. No secrets here...we are as proud of the back of the bottle as we are of the front.
