MooGoo Natural Sunscreen SPF 40

based on 64 reviews

We wish making a good sunscreen using only Zinc as the active was as easy as putting Zinc into a moisturiser, but it’s not. Good broad spectrum sun protection using only Zinc without being too greasy is very complicated. Stability, a good reflective film, naturally preserved…all of these things took us 4 years of work to achieve. But it was worth it and this is why:

  • Zinc Oxide doesn’t break down on the skin and provides long-lasting protection from UV rays
  • Suitable for use on babies, children and adults of all skin types, including sensitive skin
  • Free of all UV filters, synthetic chemicals and penetration enhancers
  • Does not contain any ingredients that are harmful to coral reefs
  • Reapply if cream is physically rubbed off

Best sunscreen available for eczema skin

This is the only product in the market suitable for our son's eczema pron skin. It's quite thick and takes some time to absorb. It's quite oily and can give that greezy feeling. However, it does the job and contains natural ingredients. I would highly recommend to anyone who has…Read More

Love this product

Moo goo is such a great brand- knowing that you can eliminate harsh chemicals on your babies skin without even thinking, makes it great. I have full confidence in this sunscreen and can confirm it works really well. This is all we used in Bali and didn’t get burnt once.

Great for babies under 6 months

I purchased this sunscreen for my baby when he was under 6 months as it was the only sunscreen that I could use. It worked really well - my little one never got burnt. The only thing I didn’t really like about this sunscreen was how thick it is. It…Read More

Moogoo sunscreen

After a mild sunburn on a walk, I asked friends if there was a sunscreen I could use on my baby (less than 6 months old) as all the warning labels said no. They all came back and said moogoo! So I had to try it, and I love it.…Read More

Q: Can I use MooGoo on a newborn?
A: YES! All of our products are suitable for newborns but we suggest you patch test first to check for allergies to any natural ingredients.
Q: Where should I store my MooGoo and do your products have an expiry date?
A: All MooGoo products should last 24months if stored under 30 degrees, away from sunlight. We have the products independently tested (a British Pharmacopeia Preservative Efficacy Test) to make sure they are sterile. This is very important as our products are often used on children or people with broken skin and contaminated products can be dangerous. We use an organic preservative system in all of our creams except for our Eczema Balm which has different requirements as it is a therapeutic product.
Q: Are ALL product ingredients listed on the packaging?
A: YES! Here at MooGoo we take the “No Gimmick” approach very seriously and believe it is important to inform people what they are putting on their skin. “Therapeutic Products” actually have no requirement to list all of their ingredients, but we do it voluntarily. No secrets here...we are as proud of the back of the bottle as we are of the front.
