Thought this was a perfect item to have in the first aid kit BUT when I actually went to use them - the tweezers, for a small splinter - I mean... they're babies, they move around so much that the magnifying glass was pointless, but even if I managed to get her to stay still, it really didn't help much at all.

The magnifying glass on these clippers does not actually help, as our issue was never seeing bub's nails, it was getting bub to hold still long enough to use them. The clippers themselves aren't fantastic, and we ended up accidentally cutting baby's finger. Try using a different brand of nail clippers when bub is feeding, instead.

We purchased this set before our son was born. If I had known about the Nail Snail I probably would have purchased that instead as it seems less daunting to use on a newborn.

However the nail clippers are easy to use and cut his nails without any problems. It is a lot easier to cut his nails as he gets older and sits still. It has come a part on a few occasions. I've had to pop it back together but it still works.

I don't use the magnifying glass and haven't had to use the tweezers yet.

I would recommend this product as it is well priced and we have been using it for 20months so far.
