This monitor was given to us as a baby shower present. Honestly never considered using a baby monitor but this one is definitely a good one to start with! The volume is decent and even the quality of the video! I especially like the night mode it has as we can see our little bub clearly still. The only issue for us as the connection, it occasionally drops out but its not too bad considering.

This monitor does the basics pretty well. It does occasionally cut out even if you are quite close to the nursery. There is a light for charging and power on the side of the camera which illuminates the room which is a bit annoying and can distract bub, but can be covered with blu-tac to block out light. The power button is just above the night light button on the camera (pictured) which in the dark you can accidentally light up the camera which is annoying. On the monitor, the power button is the opposite side to the night light button which controls the night light on the camera, which you can also accidentally turn on in the dark and a sleep deprived state!

Purchased recently after owning a camera that connected to phone as the screen. Love that there is a stand alone screen that can be left on and we can continue to use our phones when needed. The screen is very clear - day and night setting equally as clear. We also love the temperature feature as it lets us keep track especially in the summer of temp without having to go in time and time again.
Finally love the clip on camera, easy to move and clip onto side of bassinet or cot.
