Purchased this monitor as I was keen to have an option that didn’t require wifi, and didn’t need an app to view. Of course you can use wifi and the app with this monitor if you want to, but I really like the fact that I’m not reliant on my phone, and that if I take it away I don’t need a wifi connection for it to work. Really love the magnetic base for the monitor! It’s so easy to move around, reposition and makes the entire set up portable for holidays. The only way this could be made better would be if the temperature sensor was more accurate (it’s a couple of degrees off) and if the monitor had a wake function when sound is detected. I would absolutely repurchase this again. Customer service is amazing at troubleshooting and replacing components under warranty. The brand is often on sale, making this a really great option in terms of value and quality.
