I was gifted a pack that had this in it plus hairbrushes and what not. It does the what it is designed to do but it is very, very slow! Good luck getting an accurate reading if you have a wriggler or a toddler with attitude that doesn't want a bar of it.

Does what it’s designed to do but far too slow. If you have a wriggler or are concerned and want a reading quickly this isn’t the thermometer you want to use. Takes too long to get a reading and if you have a wriggler it’s out from under their arm before you can get a reading. Not something I would recommend for new parents.

I got this as a part of the tommee tippee kit. This thermometer literally does it’s job precisely. Well, it does take a bit of time to get the result, but when I did it while I was breastfeeding my baby it’s not an issue at all. Sometimes a more traditional thermometer like this are more precise than the high tech ones.
