This is one of those items that just brings me such peace of mind during bath time that it's a staple item we always use, even when we travel. It's small enought that it easily fits into a regular toiletries bag and bright enough that it doubles as a bath toy whilst we are away.
I always struggled to find the right temperature for baby's bath/shower until we got this item and I was surprised to find that I had probably been doing baths on the colder side for sometime, which baby obviously wasn't a fan of. Once we started using the thermometer bath time became far less stressful.
This item also works really well in the shower - just pop it onto the floor directly underneath the waters stream. We also store our in the shower (either on the floor or in the toy caddy) and it hasn't gone mouldy which is fantastic.
I really like the digital screen and how it immediately flashes red when the water is too hot, as you can't miss it.
I haven't found this item to be accurate at all when it comes to gauging the room temperature though. So that's something to keep in mind if your planning on buying this thermometer because it includes that function.
In terms of value for money, I think this item is worth it. Again, it's something that regularly goes on sale so I would wait to purchase to try and save a few dollars where you can.
Otherwise it's a great baby shower gift!
