I was given some of these from a friend of mine who used them with her son and I absolutely hated them. Worst bottles ever. My son wasn’t able to suck much out, he got tired and gave up. I like the idea in theory but my son just couldn’t do it - the flow was just too slow - too much effort for limited gain.

I love the slim design of this bottle. It made storage in the fridge and nappy bag easy as some wider bottles do not fit snuggly. This bottle is a great capacity for when your child is drinking more but you still want to use the Calma teat. I did find the cleaning and assembling the teat quite tedious.

Both my babies have had no issues drinking from the calma teat from around 3wks of age. We were recommended it by a lactation consultant so as not to upset breast feeding and it seemed to work well for us. I have had a lot of friends babies that would not drink from this teat though. It is a bit fiddly to put together and need to screw together properly to make sure it won’t leak. Check it first by slowly inverting, made that mistake a few times!
